Solar imaging in Barbados is not all one would expect. I am hanging onto the brolly keeping the rain off the scope and Ian's EQ6 and he thinks its funny.

This spot group arrival was a real blessing. it gives plenty of Ha interest too. These are whit light images of course.

I was very lucky, as the sun had been very quiet and I was begining to wonder if taking a solar set up was a waste of time, but day 1 produced a flare as well as nice proms.

A bevy of astromomers,i.e. myself, Damian Peach, Ian Sharp, Bruce Kingsley, and Leon de ste croix,visited Barbados in Dec 2007 primarily to image Mars, but I also did the Sun, using am Intes wedge and a Daystar .65A Ha filter modified by Mark Wagner.
